91% of computer attacks come via email. As part of the membership benefits in Norsk Industri, the member companies now have the opportunity to reach a benefits agreement with Verji, which makes it easier to communicate securely and in compliance with the GDPR.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

– The risk of computer attacks has exploded. There was a tripling from 2019 to 2020, and with the pandemic and the war in Ukraine, the threat has unfortunately increased further. Many believe that it is the largest companies that are most exposed. Still, according to NHO<\/a>, the risk is actually greater for smaller companies and half throw in the towel after being exposed to attacks. Therefore, we are pleased to enter into this benefit agreement with NHO’s largest national association, says Jan Martin Kristiansen in Verji.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Following the introduction of GDPR and the new Personal Data Act, you have a duty to encrypt communication containing personal data. You also have an obligation to inform you customers about the Personal Data Act. Violations may entail fines of up to 4% of your turnover.
